That number is just 2% of all the children in government institutional care there, and just 0.4% of the total orphaned children in that country. ZERO POINT FOUR PERCENT."

Note also that even with this VERY small percentage (2%), Americans still adopt far more children from China than any other nation (78%). The bottom line is - the need is SO great for adoptive families that are willing to go through this process and give a child a family!
